The Katsina state Governor and the APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Aminu Bello Masari was in Mai’Aduwa Local Government Area this morning for his reelection campaign tour.
Katsina Media and Publicity reports that Mai’Aduwa was the 30th LGA the campaign train visited today, amidst tight and over populated crowd.
The Governor who visited the campaign venue amidst supporters’ chants and solidarity vibes, appreciated the good people of Mai’Aduwa and pledges to fulfill their wish of making their hospital to a general hospital.
Explaining his government’s commitment to Health, he said they are currently upgrading Health Care Facilities across Katsina, Daura, Funtua, Dutsinma, Musawa, Malumfashi, among others, adding by the next level same will be for Mai’Aduwa.
@katgovmedia reports that Masari’s history track shows that, it was under his commissionership that same facility was provided, as such it will be a good thing to him to complete what he started in the 90’s when he started as Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of works.
Appreciating the Governor, the Chairman Interim Management Committee of Mai’Aduwa said they had benefitted under Masari what they did not since the creation of Katsina state. He commended the Governor’s efforts especially in educational infrastructure, man power and teaching materials. In terms of agriculture, which is the dominant job of the people in the locality, the Chairman thanked the Governor for a job well-done especially as regard prompt and adequate supply of fertilizer.
Stakeholder and prominent politician, former Speaker, Alh. Yau Umar Gwajo Gwajo, called on the people to reelect Masari as they owe him that in 2019. He thanked the Governor and called for upgrade of their market as it is a National Animal Hub that is being patronized by neighbouring countries like Niger.
Highlights in Mai’Aduwa were songs by prominent Hausa artists.
