VOTE ALL APC CANDIDATES, OSHIOMOLE APPEALS TO VOTERS IN FUNTUA

The All Progressives Congress-APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has called on voters in Funtua, Katsina state to vote all the APC candidates in the forthcoming elections. Katsina Media and Publicity reports that he made the call in his speech while flagging off the gubernatorial, national and state assemblies campaigns of the APC candidates in Funtua on Saturday. “For the President to achieve his aim of delivering selfless service to the nation, which takes Nigeria to greater heights, APC needs to come out victorious from the bottom to the top in the coming 2019 elections”. “We have seen how the people of South–South have on Friday in Uyo attested that the 3 years of President Buhari administration is far more rewarding than the combined 16 years of the PDP leadership in the region and the country at large,” oshiomhole said. The Katsina state Governor, Rt. Hon. Dr. Aminu Bello Masari has described President Muhammadu Buhari as a futuristic and visionary leader. Katsina Media and Publicity reports that, Masari stated this during a courtesy call by “Buhari/Masari Sahu Ya Daidaita”; a political group led by Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Services, Alhaji Haruna Musa today at the Muhammadu Buhari House, the seat of Katsina State Government. The Governor assured Nigerians that President Muhammad Buhari had initiated various programmes and policies which in no distant future would take Nigeria to the next level. MASARI: ULAMA SHOULD PLAY THEIR ROLE IN EDUCATING PEOPLE ON QUALITIES OF LEADERS, LEADERSHIP

The Katsina state Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has stressed the need for the Ulama to preach for the emergence of good leadership in the country. Katsina Media and Publicity reports that Masari was speaking at the graduation of 190 students that memorized the Holy Qur’an at Madrasatul Daril Imam Litahafizil Qur’anil Karim, Unguwar Liman, Katsina. The Governor cited example with the effort made to choose a leader after prophet Muhammad (SAW), saying that the Sahabas voted for the next leader of the Ummah based on merit even though they are all sahabas. He said although the current contestants to the presidential seat are followers of the same faith, but the qualities differ, adding that the ulama needed to harp on the good leadership qualities of a candidate. Masari also took time to warn on the dangers of drug abuse and the serious effect of social media, especially as it relates to hate speech.
